Hi, I’m glad you’re here.
My name is Gray and I’m a licensed therapist who values authenticity and strives to meet each person where they are, as they are. We all know that getting started can be one of the hardest parts, but you’ve done it; you’re here.
Let’s keeping walking together and see where it takes us.

About Me
Originally from Pennsylvania, I attended UNC Wilmington and received my Bachelor’s in Psychology in 2016. I considered places all over to pursue my Master’s degree but ultimately, found myself pulled to stay in North Carolina. In 2018, I completed my Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with a concentration in Expressive Arts Therapy at Appalachian State University. During my time in the mountains, I decided to dive head first into my yogic journey and completed a 200-hr Yoga Teacher Training at Asheville Yoga Center.
Creativity and movement have always been such a large part of my life; it’s my way of keeping in touch with myself. As a teenager, I loved making art, listening to music, dancing, and playing all kinds of sports. These activities (and new ones!) continued throughout college and are still a part of my life today. I’ve found that they helped me foster a deeper understanding of myself—the more I engaged in these practices, the more balanced and grounded I felt. It is my goal to carry this sense of balance with me and let it guide my practice with others.
In the past, I've enjoyed working with children, adolescents, and young adults. Currently, I am working with children ages 8+, adolescents, and adults in private practice. My clinical interests include gender-inclusive counseling, healing from past trauma, and supporting those experiencing life changes, as well as the strength and resiliency of the human spirit. I welcome and support all people regardless of race, ethnicity, religion, sex, gender identity and expression, and sexual orientation.
In my free time, you can find me with my nose in a book, at a concert, tending to my many houseplants, or hanging out with my husband and our pets.

What can I expect during our initial session?
If you are a new client, our first session will be what I call the ‘get to know you’ session. Essentially, this is when we’ll talk about what brings you to therapy, your past experiences, helpful history, and goals.
All paperwork will have been completed beforehand so we don’t have to take away time during session. Towards the end, we’ll schedule our next session, whether that be confirming a standing appointment or taking it one at a time!
We use a HIPAA compliant electronic health records system that allows us to meet virtually with ease. You’ll be sent a unique link for each telehealth appointment via text and/or email.
